“The guide was quite knowledgeable, and he did great switching between English and Spanish. Only issue was the group had both English and Spanish and the majority were Spanish. I wish had 2 guides. Would recommend to mention that in the details.”

“Tour guide really gave the tour in Spanish and not much in English. There were only a few English only speaking on the tour so we missed a lot of the history. Trip is very fast and as two seniors we could not keep up even though the guide said the trip was for everyone. I would recommend a different trip to see Escorial.”

“Exceptional, given the huge size of the El Escorial Monastry and the number of historical items available to see - from the private quarters of Philip 11 to the burial monuments of Kings, Queens and their infant children. And then we were quickly driven to the Valley of the Dead and Basilica which was/is such a huge epitaph to the fallen dead of the Spanish Civil War. We were very impressed by the size of the sites and the your organization!”

“Valley of the Fallen - Time and visit Perfect! Escorial - We did not get chance to see the Gardens and maze [except through a window] and felt a little rushed. The Guides were very good and knowledgeable and we really enjoyed the trip, but we feel we need to go to Escorial again to see the outside [unless of course it is for Monks only! In which case fair enough!”

“One of our worst tours ever! The monastery visit was five hours long (3 1/2 driving) which left no time to purchase food, water or gifts. The last tour stop at Valley of the fallen was so rushed that we only had a half an hour to see it and use the restroom. The afternoon Toledo portion was even worse. the trip was advertised as English speaking, but was the combined Spanish English tour with a tour guide.(Nat) that spoke 85% of the time in Spanish and only 15% of the time in English, his English pronunciation was so poor that we could barely understand him. We learned absolutely nothing…”
