“We received instructions the day before the tour. When we arrived at the train station, Fran was already waiting for us—what an amazing attitude and experience! He guided us through the city, explaining everything in detail. We even got to see some filming locations from Star Wars and Game of Thrones. We visited the city center, had some coffee, listened to great stories, and enjoyed one of the best tours I’ve ever had. Eventually, I will come back, and I hope Fran will be the one to welcome me again.”

“The guides were fine. It’s the logistics of it that was not adequate. We traveled by train from Madrid. The guide communicated via whatsapp but we had issues with the wifi and did not receive them, only when we got to Cordova. She called via WhatsApp app but we don’t have voice call activated. Keep in mind that nowhere in the instructions inform you that that will be the communication method. If we had known then we would have taken the proper measures. When we arrived we had to call the company. They responded immediately and the issue was resolved. The other aspect was we booked the spanish language guide.…”

“We had spent nights in Toledo before.Tour guide recommended that we do not do the Tourist Train, but to do her tour, so we paid 20 euros each extra to do so. Problem was we were constantly on the move with little time to take photos other than the designated stops. We felt rushed and we had no intention of having lunch, but we would not have had time anyway. I would call this a non stop whirlwind tour of Toledo, and would recommend seeing the Alcazar rather than the Synagogue, which was not really much to see. Also, the area where we were let loose for lunch was isolated…”

“If you enjoy history and architecture, then this is a must. Cordoba gets very hot in the summer so we took the 7:30am train from Madrid and were greeted by our tour guide Lola at 9:15am. She made the experience extremely interesting by explaining the history as we walked the historical sites. The only downside of this was the guide at the mosque who was explaining things using paper and iPads while she could have done that while walking the mosque. After the 3 hour tour, we went on our own to explore the place on our own, followed by lunch and took the 4:30 train back to Madrid.”
